Nadine and I were friends for many years. I was overjoyed to help her realize her dream of securing her first home at 14 Boatworks Drive. She was one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met, genuine, selfless, and thoughtful.

We shared a deep love for our community and supported each other’s charity work. She loved capturing pictures of Boatworks and was my unofficial photographer of candid shots of the community’s annual Holiday Tree lighting.

It broke my heart when Nadine passed. Months later, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from her sister, Linda. She said, “We need to sell Nadine’s house. I know she would want you to help”. That call made this sale a deep commitment.

I eagerly joined Linda in finishing Nadine’s dream of updating the home. It was a joy to market and position this property for sale. I did it all for my friend Nadine. For me, real estate is not only a paycheck, but also about feeling good about myself at the end of each day. This transaction was about honoring that trust.

As we turn the home over to its new owner, I can’t help but feel a sense of bittersweetness as we say goodbye. I am excited for the new memories that will be made here.
